Growing up

I work at a liquor store in real life and in this dream I was required to go work at a different one for some reason. This new store was in a park behind my old house and when I started working at that one (even though it was temporary) I had to find a new place to live on my own as well. So I went out and found a place for drifters. It was these people who owned a lot of land and people just kind of moved in and out of the area as time passed on. I did everything on my own and found out exactly what I needed in order to have a new place to sleep. I was sleeping in this room at one point with two other people and they were in some kind of conundrum because they smoked to much weed or something. I didn’t smoke any of the weed and it felt great that I had nothing to worry about. I also remember hearing about this kid named Johnny from highschool who was selling pills and I was pretty disgusted by it for some reason. After that I saw pictures of my ex-girlfriend who was starting a new chapter in her life and moving from New York to Phoenix (in real life she is actually moving from NY to Texas) and I could see from the pictures she posted that she was really nervous about the whole thing. I was stopping by my old house and she was there. While there I basically said our goodbye to each other. I was going to take a picture for her to post for old times sake and as I was lining up the shot in the sunlight my parents walked out and messed up the photo. I was pretty upset at my parents for some reason. I didn’t like how they came out without telling me and then I could tell by their body language that they disapproved of us saying goodbye to each other. I felt like they were babying me for sone reason. I then woke up in a real life to my parents waking me up for an appointment that I already had multiple alarms set for and felt like they were babying me as well there in a way. When in reality they were just making sure I wasn’t late.
