Rented apartment, old taxi cab from the past, broken clock, quarters trick

In my dream there was a middle-aged couple who rented my apartment. They were very grateful for having the opportunity to do so. I think they were in town for their kids in college. I don’t know if the kid was moving in or graduating, but I think moving in. The father had said something about needing to fix my wrist watch. But then all of a sudden we were looking at a wall clock. We were talking about different time zones. I took the wall clock down and took it apart even though I didn’t know what I was doing. I knew I had to bring it to o’clock expert to put it back together. I wondered how much that was going to cost me. Suddenly I remembered one of the jewelry guys who I worked for who knew watch repair experts. When the couple was wrapping up their state, they thanked me again and had questions about outlets in the bedroom. I showed them where all the outlets were, and they thought there was no rhyme or reason to having two outlets kind of close to each other on opposite walls in the corner. And where there should have been an outlet, there weren’t any. The scene changed and I was with a friend waiting for a taxi. When I called up the cab company, they described the taxi driver and the vehicle he would be driving. I thought it was a joke when he came by. It was an old man and an old fashion vehicle drove very slow. He drew a lot of attention to himself, unknowingly. When my companion and I got into the vehicle, I gave a comical sign of resignation and shrug my shoulders with an expression on my face that made observers laugh. Scene changed again. I had told people that I can put a dozen quarters on my elbow and catch them all at the same time. People trying to gather coins and other weird things that were not quarters. We were in some kind of mall. People were gathering things from different stores in the mall that were out in the open. Different displays. I didn’t really do what I said I was going to do because they weren’t all quarters. I was annoyed and embarrassed at the same time. I went back and apologized to all the owners and try to make things right with putting their displays back together. Most of them were kind about it.
