I was at my paternal grandmother‘s and we’d just walked in the door to her house. She had went to one bedroom to change and I was getting ready to go to the other one to change clothes. My dad and another man walk in. The man is about the same height as my dad with gray hair and is covered in dirt like he’d been working in a mechanic shop or some type of mill. He looked familiar but couldn’t place him. I’m immediately distrustful though he appears to be a gentle giant. I sit down on the couch and he ask where I’m from. I answer honestly saying “Craigsville“ and my dad says “Davis County“. I continue to talk to the guy as he is saying how he noticed the red spot on my chest in a baby photo, and I tell him it eventually faded in time. Then my niece was running around the living room playing and he asked if she was okay because she seemed wobbly. I went to ask if she was okay but couldn’t remember her name.
