My friend's band were playing at the Royal Albert Hall (big fancy concert venue in London). I gave my ticket to the door person and went in but realised I didn't know which seat was mine. There were lots of empty seats so I decided to quickly sit down in one while I looked up the confirmation email on my phone to find my seat number. While I was doing this, a random lady came up to me and said "That's not your seat! Show me your ticket!" I told her I didn't have my ticket on me and she got mad and started yelling that I didn't have a ticket and should be kicked out. Everyone in the venue was looking at me while I frantically searched through my emails to find the right one. Eventually I found it, showed the lady and she immediately calmed down and everything went on like nothing had happened. All this would have been avoided if I'd just bought a standing ticket 😜
