New job by Times Square

In my dream, I started a new job right by Times Square. Joe M, someone I worked for a long time ago, was my boss again and I had really nice colleagues. It was such a chill environment. (Joe M was the first office boss I had that was genuinely kind, which is rare in my experience.) I showed up my first day wearing a plum colored purple business suit, but it was a blue collar job. We were arranging a room divider and I brought in clear plastic bags to keep the random tools in. I also used a marker to mark the bags for the various tools and random pieces in. It was appreciated by colleagues as a good idea. While I showed them, the black ink slowly disappeared on the bags, as witnessed by me and some of the colleagues. I later had the idea to draw on a paper or paper towel what the various tools and pieces look like, and put that in each clear plastic bag. One of the new coworkers knew my younger brother and some of his friends. I soon learned a number of my new coworkers were around the same age and knew my brother’s friends as well. The new coworker mentioned a negative aspect of my brother’s personality. In my dream, I agreed and said I didn’t have that negative personality. But in real life, neither of us have that mindset. I kept thinking I had to get myself some lunch and regretted not bringing my own lunch. I kept looking around and tried to use my phone to find anywhere nearby that had gluten free options and were affordable. I ultimately walked into a pizzeria and asked for the worker to make a combination of cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers. The worker was kind enough to oblige. He offered another type of meat, which I declined. It may have been ham. I was grateful to finally get myself some food. The worker added some extra ingredients and for some reason curled up the parchment paper before placing in the oven. It must’ve been around late afternoon. Suddenly the main floor in my new work area was flooded with people I haven’t seen or met on my first day. They were all lining up to log out for the day. I joined the line and was assisted with successfully creating my ID needed to log in and out. Again, I was surprised at how patient and kind the people were. Before I knew it, my ID was created that I could use to sign in and out. I still wanted to clean up the area where we were working on the two-leveled door. It had a bottom and we were working on adding the top back on. I also clarified with Joe M my official working hours, which were 7:30-4:30. My lunch could be between 1/2 hour or a full hour. There was another part of the dream that combined other previous jobs: working at the college with Joe (in 1990), the event planner job in 1997 and the hotel job around 2010. The scenery was square shaped, with the outer perimeter was various offices. Each side had a different “personality” based on colleagues and their work roles. Other dreams had bathroom scenes that were uncomfortable. But the bathroom experience at some point in this dream was finally easy going in terms of normal social interactions and modesty. This dream was so pleasant in every aspect. I hope it’s a sign of good things to come in real life.
