Back surgery

I was in a college residence. I don't remember much, but the dorm was huge and it had a lot of beds. I don't remember the people who was with me. Outside was beautiful and it looked like the children's hospital of my country but painted with warm colors : the walls were creme/yellow and the borders of the windows were red/orange. Then, I don't know if this was a separated dream but I ended up in an unusual surgery room, painted with cold colors. The wall was dark turquoise. It was a huge room with a TV suspended in the wall and it had a division (another room was there I suppose) I was laying down on the bed, my back facing the only woman surgeon that was there. She had black long hair. She was going to insert an iron bar inside my spine. First, she put me anesthesia in form of gas. The sensations were so intense. I felt like I was going numb and that I was going to faint. I expected to become unconscious but that never happened. I only felt my mouth super numb with some kind of hard gel inside. I don't remember what happened, only that she talked to me a lot and I asked a lot of questions. Then, I remembered the anesthesia wearing off and because of that (I think) she couldn't finish inserting the iron bar so she told me I should come other day.
