Huge moth next to bed

Found huge dead moth next to my bed it had spotted wings I lifted it up with a flyswatter and carried it downstairs but then dropped it on lower floor and couldn’t find it My grandma was mad at me for some reason and turned off the lights so I couldn’t see while I was looking for the moth I turned them on again and she turned them off This kept repeating as I grew more and more frustrated
