This is my first dream of the 2020s. I was in my old childhood house. All of the lights were off, and I was in the hallway. I walked down the familiar hallway, but the end of the hallway wasn’t my old house. It was a completely different room. This room had gray walls, and a door and window shining sunlight into the room on the right. There was a desk with a chair, and beside it was another door, but this one had no window. Also, when I walked to the end of the hall, I figured out that someone else was beside me. This was a total stranger, and all that I remember was that she was red headed. So we both walked into the room, and we found that there was another person sleeping on the chair. This woman had black hair. Apparently, the red haired girl knew the black haired, but I didn’t know either of them. Then we opened the door beside the desk, and it was a closet full of stuff. There was a miniature tennis court made of plastic, an orange ping pong ball and two paddles. We grabbed the stuff and the two started playing a weird version of table tennis where you had to hit the ping pong ball with the paddle and the ball had to hit the plastic miniature tennis court. It looked really hard to do. After a while, one of the women (I forgot which one) kept hitting the ball too hard and it would end up flying. Then there was one time where she hit it down the hallway, so I went to fetch it, but then the scene switched. This time, I was in the kitchen of the house I’m in right now. Apparently, there was a possessed baby doll on the loose. This demon doll could also possess cats. That’s what it has been doing to my pet cats, but there is one, Grumpy, who is immune to possession for some reason. I forgot what happens next, but after it, the two women have returned to help catch the demon baby and return it to hell, or something like that. We were still in the kitchen. To perform the ritual to return the doll, we had to get a few hula hoops and stack them somewhere. The demon baby runs in, and I quickly catch it. I put it in the hoops, and we held hands around the baby and chanted something in a different language. I forgot what the language was, or if it was even a different language at all. The hula hoops started to glow bright, and then the floor grew over the doll, completely covering it. Eventually, the baby was completely covered, and the hula hoops stopped glowing. All that was left was a lumpy part of the kitchen floor. The job was done, the demon doll was no more, and the dream ended.
