Party gone wrong

I was at a party on the third floor of an apartment building. There were a lot of people. One really tall man with a strange mask and cloak was there; everyone was entertained by him but I felt something was wrong about him. I shrugged it off. Come to find out, he was at the party preparing to kill us all. He had two accomplices who wore the same outfit. Word spread around the party and we all tried to hide. I hid in the very back room with a few others. I tried to text my mom and dad that I loved them. I couldn't send the text. I was frustrated and upset. (I'm not sure why I didn't call the police, but anyway.) Eventually they found us and it turned into a 16-bit video game style and they raped and killed us. Thankfully it wasn't very graphic because it was in a video game style.
