Just In Love

Drive by Halsey plays on my headphones and my phone buzzes. I unlock my phone to see who had sent me a text message. It was my ex, Justin. He had left me because he didn't feel the same about me anymore and I was heartbroken. I read the text and it says "Wanna makeup? Diamondback game tonight and dinner. I'm buying both." I smile and reply "Sure :)" I get myself ready for the dinner and game with Justin. I apply foundation and concealer since I had been sunburned on my face. Then I apply my eyeliner with the winged lines. "Wowie you look great girl!" I tell myself. I then look at the time and realize he said we're having dinner at 4:30 and it was 4:15. I texted him "I'm on my way!" as I get in my red Honda car. On my way there, my mind rushes with many questions. Is he going to take me back? Is he still just wanting to be friends? Will he hate me? I arrive at his house and we proceed to Olive Garden where he had already booked a booth for 2; him and I. We sit down at our assigned booth and we order a glass of water with lemon. And the first thing he said before he took a bite of that delicious garlic bread, "I want to say I'm so seriously sorry and I miss you." I nearly choke on my food because I almost didn't hear him. He repeats it since he knows I'm deaf and he usually repeats something if I don't hear him. "So, I guess I'm just gonna get right to it, will you be my girlfriend again?" I feel my eyes welling up in happy tears as I nod and I hold back my tears. We then order our food, I order a macaroni and cheese and he orders a steak and salad. While finishing our food in silence in order to try to get our seats at the game before its full. Our waitress approaches and he pays for our meals and we head over to the stadium to see the diamondbacks. He turns on his radio station and Pillowtalk by Zayn comes on and we immediately look at each other's eyes and smile and sing along loudly. We arrive a few blocks away from the stadium and we walk over to the entrance while his rough, but comforting hands hold my small fragile hands. Throughout the game we kissed occasionally and cheered on for the Diamondbacks and we won in the end! We walk back to the car and before he opens my car door he grabs my arms and pushes me to my car and kisses me vigorously. My knees become weak and I let out a little chuckle and smile. When we finish kissing, I look at his beautiful blue eyes and say "I love you. I have really missed you" "I really love you too and I've missed you too sweetie" he whispers back. He then opens my car door and we head back to his place. Holding hands as I'm driving cautiously because I was on cloud nine. Just as I was about to give him a goodnight kiss, I woke up.
