Fallen Leaf Dinner

I was the host of a TV show where we went to people's houses and told them what to fix. I went to this one house that had laundry machines on the outside, and I commented on how nice it would be to be able to do laundry outside. There were also 2 washers and dryers inside. The ones on the outside wrapped around the whole side of the house - there could have been like 20 of each. For some reason I saw these and remembered that I had been their maid and it would have been nice for the outside washers to be there when I was working for them. Later I was walking down the hallway and realized there were rooms with numbers on the doors - it was a boarding house. I walked past a door that said "emergency exit only, alarm will sound." I pushed the door and no alarm went off, it opened onto a balcony looking down on to the washing machines. It was hinged from the top and hung at an angle. I went downstairs for dinner. They were having "fallen leaf dinner." This involved just eating piles of leaves around a large square table with everyone else in the house. There were 2 girls that I was friends with or something and they didn't think it was strange at all so I tried to join in. It wasn't great
