I hadn’t gone into my bedroom in weeks because I always sleep in my living room. I went back there one morning because I had felt some presence while I slept. I was horrified when I went into my room and my bed was facing a different way than I had it. I noticed on my back door the chain lock was completely missing from the door, so anyone in the apartment on the other side could freely open it. “Shit I have to call my landlord asap, that’s terrifying.” I checked on all the cats I kept back there and realized one had given birth to what looked like four kittens, which would have put me 4 over the limit to how many cats I was allowed. “Shit, if I call my landlord I’d get myself in trouble.” I thought about posting the kittens online on this Facebook group I’m in called free cats and kittens Connecticut. Of course I’d wait til they were old enough to separate from the mother. I was the limo driver for my stepmom’s wedding. I was almost late. I tore apart my closet looking for a possible outfit and pulled out a beautiful white lacey dress. I put that on and headed out. I drove the limo terribly and went to some other apartment building to pick up my family and the other guests. Everyone slowly filled in. My stepmom sat up front with me. My dad exchanged some words with me as if we never stopped talking. I headed back to my apartment building which was where the wedding was. I kept trying to play music from my phone for the limo but for some reason all my videos were mixed in with my music and I could only shuffle it all, so I was just endlessly skipping through everything and people were annoyed. I then realized something and turned to my stepmom. “I didn’t realize I put on something white. I’m so sorry.” She was confused. “You know, not supposed to wear white to a wedding. Only the bride. I feel terrible,” I admitted. She seemed to not care. We finally got back to my building. Suddenly I got this huge need to go back in my apartment and take pictures of the kittens to post them. I hurried back in and found the kittens all in my kitchen. I got down on the floor and took some perfect pictures of them. They were so so so so cute. But now I was late to the ceremony.
