old dream

my dream was so weird last night. i don’t remember fully but i had a huge amount of friends and for some reason they began to die. two siblings died and it was sad but then a boy (idk who) that i was very close with died, i was so sad and everyone knew and they tried to treat me differently but i was just so sad that i couldn’t care. sad dream. now fast foward and i don’t remember a whole lot of what happened in between but i do remember that my group of friends had been downsized dramatically but my friends and my dog and this older guy with orange hair and some other people was there. we were traveling different places (like weird places) and every time we went to a different place, someone would be killed by these “enemies.” in a place underwater, they killed my dog, and on snowy hills, they ran over the older orange hair guy with a big snow truck. every time i had to keep going because i was on a mission of some sort? i’m not sure but it was obvious i was the protagonist, because they were weeding off my friends to spite me. one time i became very frustrated. i went going to keep letting it happen. so in a shack in the desert, we were waiting and a girl much older than us tried to come inside. i knew what she was there to do so intercepted and stepped outside to fight her. she was bigger and stronger than me and bested me in anyway possible. i knew there was no way i could stop her, so i yelled at all my friends to run away and escape, because they could never survive if they stayed hiding in the shack. i don’t remember much more after that but then i was suddenly revisiting the places i went to where they had killed my friends. it was very dramatic!! i would visit each site and it was like something would show very prominently and my friends would reappear, like as spirits, and travel again with me from place to place. in the very end when everyone had returned, my friends seemed to come to life again and we were in a room with all my “enemies.” the leader proposed that i be given this test and if i won, he would allow my friends to stay with me and for them to never come back. and unfortunately, that’s all i remember. a wild dream though.
