I hear screaming and enter an apartment door to my left. George Jefferson and the father from Sanford and Son are standing naked in the living room of the Jefferson's deluxe apartment in the sky and shouting at each other. I don't know what they were saying (I was never able to understand them as a kid either) or why Mr. Sanford is there and I stay in the door way for a moment trying to figure it out. As I stood, I became progressively more anxious and then a bit panicked. I quickly backed out of the room and slammed the door behind me. Across the hall is another apartment door and after entering it, I'm at my dad's house. My sister is on the couch watching Bob Ross and I kind of stumble into my bedroom in the house. I'm not really sure when I got hurt but I was definitely limping. When I got to my bed, my black cat was curled in a ball in the center. When I reached to pet her, her body sort of contorted and she became what looked like a suspended blob of oil. When I actually touched the blob, the oil seeped into the bed and I just stood there until the spot appeared to dry. I went back to the living room to watch Bob Ross with my sister and halfway through a forest landscape I ask her, "Where is Mr. Jefferson?" She just stared at me until I left the room. I went to the front yard and laid out under a big tree that my father cut down five years ago.
