"This will be a story to tell one day"

Night of June 17th My sister and I lived in huts in the U.S. They were on a dirty street in the city with worlds crappiest school district. The huts were lined up in rows of 12 and looked like something you'd put in a lizard tank. That wasn't even the worst of it either, our neighbors were awful and would make loud noises throughout the night to make us mad. We had enough of it, so I pulled megan out of school and we spontaneously went to Australia. I didn't know if I had the money for it at first, but plane tickets were only 50$, so on that note, we flew off. As soon as we got off of the plane, we walked on a wide, orange clay road which looks like the desert. Along the walls were advertisements you'd see at an airport, but for different excursions. We went to look at the tree frogs and take pictures of the other animals. Night fell, and we hadn't planned on where we were staying. I didn't plan on spending more than 200$ for this trip which included the plane tickets. Therefore, we didn't have a place to sleep. I was trying to take pictures of all the animals when megan was yanking on my arm for us to leave. I didn't want to, but she said she had to go to school. So we went back to the airport and we're trying to find cheap enough tickets to go back, or we couldn't. We recognized one of megs friends fathers and he helped us to our exit strategy and that is when my dad walked in and gave us money to get a ticket. That's when we all thought "this will be a story to tell mom one day"
