Talking about the ring

I was talking with a Lady about my engagement ring that I was buying for my girlfriend. She was asking me a lot of questions about how I got the money, who funded it, and where I worked. My dad (in the dream) partially funded the ring and I told her that my father helped but it was mostly me. She was contemplating giving me a better ring but wanted to make sure I was in need (maybe that is just how my heart took it at the time). Nonetheless I kept conversation till I woke up.
