I'm a house snail

I'm in my room chilling with my brother. It's like a cross between my old room and new one. I was on my laptop on my bed when I noticed water rising at my window. I hopped off my bed and rushed to see that our house was on a beach, and the tide was slowly rising. It was a dark cloudy evening, so the waves look ominous and the sand had a greyer muddy look. I ran out of the house into the knee deep sea. My brother and family followed. Did we run to safety? No, I put on a harness attached to the base of the house and started pulling the massive structure through the wet sand. It wasn't easy but it was possible. I tugged it all the way to the start of the beach. Unfortunately, we knew it was high tide and had to go further inland. We were on a small island, that curved around to the top which was used as a tiki bar. Needless to say we crashed the party with our massive house that blocked the entrance. I released myself and looked over the wooden fence to see the ocean had consumed the beach and is only 10 or so metres away from us. We all had cocktails from tiki head cups and waited for death.
