Uber or Lyft?

I was getting ready for work and it was approximately 6:40am. I was going to leave the house in a few minutes and noticed that there were LOTS of people in large groups surrounding my driveway and my street. Due to the crowds, it was impossible for me to move my car and back out of the driveway. So I had no other option but to take an Uber. I was searching the Uber website frantically to find out how to schedule a ride and the website did not provide an area to request a ride. After countless searching, I finally figured out that I had to download the app to schedule a ride. So I logged into my account on the Uber app and tried to schedule a ride. My sister was helping me schedule a ride for this morning but she told me unfortunately all the rides were booked until tomorrow. Time was ticking and I was urgent to get to work on time. It was now almost 7am so I was cutting it close. Since Uber didn’t work out, I tried to schedule a ride with Lyft. I’ve never used Lyft before, so I downloaded the app and I found out that it was slightly easier to schedule a ride on the app. I found a match but in order to confirm my ride, I had to write down and reproduce this lengthy code. The code had a combination of numbers, letters and words. Some of the words were in Spanish. So as the operator was telling me the code, I was quickly writing it down. To confirm the Lyft ride, I had to type the code in the blank area of the app and they only gave me two chances to get the code correct. Plus, the code was case sensitive so I had to watch where I capitalized and lowercased certain letters. The first chance was unsuccessful and they gave me a bad review on the app. Several minutes later, I tried one last time. It was 7:26am when I gave it my final attempt. The second time worked and my Lyft driver was going to arrive at my house by 7:40am. While I was waiting for the driver to arrive, I texted my administrators saying that I was going to be late. I supposedly had a meeting at 7:30 and asked if I could reschedule. Once the Lyft driver picked me up, I woke up.
