Arranging things to help my ex girl friend

She was asking me some help she wanted a one night stay at some place I was not in the city so I made arrangements to come back and told her that I will pick her by 6 pm then I was doing everything so fast that I wanted to be with her as soon as possible but so many things come in between and our meeting was getting delayed
