I've been using it to get around since I was young but only in recent years would I say I've gotten the hang of it. it doesn't look like or work like a highway in waking life but that's the closest thing I can compare it to. that's how I remember the different places I travel to. i always used to get lost or get off at the wrong exit and end up somewhere so strange, sometimes I couldn't navigate my way back. it was alright. I wasn't sure where I was headed anyway. I guess I was just looking for a place that felt right and now I've found that. I get around by train and plane now instead and I'm more sure of myself. I get the right feels here and a lot of places are easy to recall when I'm awake. I get a lot of deja vu. I feel like I have some magic here. but it was the highway that led me here I think and although I don't dream about it anymore, I still know it's there when I'm asleep.
