Magical plant growth

There was this guy who was somehow hired to sabotage me. However, he was kind of incompetent. There were these areas on the ground where piles of earth and peat were piled up and collected in rectangular or diamond-shaped wooden walls about a foot high. This same guy was trying to cast a spell that would make specific plants or strawberries grow in one of the boxes. He wasn’t aware that I was familiar with the spell he was using and that he was standing in front if the wrong box. So I went over and told him, he was appreciative.
