A guy was asking all of us if we’d seen his girlfriends ring. He showed us what it looked like...like a 1/4 moon with a shiny diamond near its middle. I thought how lucky she was. Also, someone at work asked if I’d left this dirty pot in the sink. It had caked on food. I said to give me 10 minutes and then I’d come clean it. As they were leaving I made a remark, like, “It’s always something.” She came back to ask me why I’d said that. I told her I was overwhelmed. She looked concerned and said, “Ahhh..”
