The 4 legged hybrid

Dream started off in a 4 story mansion. Me and my brother went outside to throw the trash and saw a man walking to us from the side. We immediately went inside and locked the door. As soon as we locked it we saw a black figure appearing in front of the door; the man was staring at us right into our eyes from that position(he could see through a hole on the top of the door) Only thing I could say about the man is that he was really tall and had a detective coat on with a fedora (his face looked European) I asked what he wanted. No response. We both were on our way back up trying to ignore the man but suddenly I heard him throw something inside our house. It was a little black capsule with letters and numbers on it (size of my thumb). I picked it up and threw it back outside. The man looked at me and left. -Dream cuts off (I do not recall) I got mad at this man for some reason. So I got my katana and went down to see how my other friend was handling him. Went down the fourth, third, and second stair but as soon as I was about to reach the first one I see my friend's sandals on the middle of the stairs. I hear a sound and I head back up quickly. My heart was pounding and this mans or whatever the creature's sound is was getting stronger and stronger. When I reached the second floor going up the spiral stairs I saw this four legged monster jump, from the stairs that led me to the fourth floor, in front of me. This grey dull looking four legged monster looked into my eyes and jumped for me. Slash* I hit him with the katana that I had straight to the middle and before I know if he is dead or not the dream ends.
