15 years later and she’s still in my mind☹️

There was a girl I was courting around the same time I met my wife. She lived far away and at the time my wife seemed like a more real possibility. We both moved on but remain in contact. She always tells me she wished I would’ve had the courage to say what she would’ve liked to hear. For some reason I dreamt she was with me. I woke up thinking she was by my side and it took me a good five or more seconds to realize it wasn’t so. To make it worse I hoped I didn’t mention her name in my sleep cause you know, the wife😅
