Swim

I was with my sister and we kept arguing so I decided that I was going to get my own apartment at 17. My mom got me a debit card and I found an apartment near my parents house that only cost $150. My mom gave me $1000 dollars on my card and helped me move into my apartment. It was small but it had everything I needed. I took my clothes, a pot, a pan, and everything in my room. I moved in and had settled down when I heard a noise from my bathroom. I found a boy around my age hiding there. I asked him what he was doing there and he ran out. I locked him out and called my parents. My dad and brother came and stayed with me. After 30 minutes someone knocks. I go to the door and find the boy there. He begs and pleads to be let in and kept glancing behind him. I asked him if he was gonna hurt me and he said no so I let him in. I lead him to the bathroom avoiding my dad and brother. I told him to stay there and I would get him. I lead my dad and brother out and told them I was tired and was going to turn in but thankful for them coming. They leave and I lock the door and let the boy out to talk. He tells me that he was hiding from the police and some people in the streets. He hides in my apartment for a week and we get to know each other. At some point a car came in front of my now house and he started freaking out. He told me that he had to get something and he went to the door that lead to either the back or the garage. I texted my dad and told him to meet me in the garage. I followed Jake and he went outside through the gate and into the front. He said something about tricking me and that he’s actually going to the garage. I told okay let’s go in together and say hi to my dad. The garage door opened to reveal my dad there waiting for us. Then something happened and police came and took both me and Jake in. The next day I was in my backyard thinking about something that Jake had said about the ocean and having a beach in my backyard. I didn’t like the water but I decided that maybe I should try some calmer parts. I go to this area surrounded by trees that had a bunch of water from the ocean that had been warmed by the sun and go in. I am soon later joined by my family and Jake. Apparently my parents bailed him out. We all start swimming and having fun and then I woke up.
