As I drifted off into sleep I kept thinking about this recurring dream that felt so real. There were two or three kids that were traveling with no where to go and I let them stay in the little beach shack behind my house. When I went to check on them the shack was on fire and the kids were gone. In my head it seemed like maybe they had been kidnapped and tried covering their tracks. I was furious so I called the authorities and notified them about the missing kids. As I went to sleep that night I was worried about someone breaking in considering how easily they snuck onto the property the first time. Just before closing my eyes I heard something under my bed. I jumped up and turned my phone flashlight on to check it out. I pulled two kids out from under my bed. They hadn’t been kidnapped lol. I guess they were hiding because they were scared and the fire started after they left a lantern on in the shack. They had run away from an abusive home so I decided to take them in and raise them. There were two. A boy about 10 and a little girl about 6. They were kind and smart but need looking after and that’s where I come in. But during the day the kids would vanish without a trace. No tracks or anything they were just gone. I would search for them all day until finally it was dark out and they would appear again. It seemed I could only see them at night. This dream wasn’t recurring. It was different every time but each night the kids would resurface. Like they were walking out of the ocean to visit me each night.
