The one with the refilling lake

I was walking through he fields at the back of my house past a pond /fishing lake I was with someone but I don’t know who and I was wanting to show hem the lake. It empties and fills violently every minute or so. We walked too far past it looking for it and walked into a housing estate so turned back to find it.
