Very short lucid dream

Not sure what was going on at all in the dream, but after doing several reality checks over the past few days (usually only right before bed) my hands appeared infront of my face while dreaming. (I have been trying out the reality check of looking at your hands during waking hours). I then became lucid and decided it would be a fun experiment to look at a clock. (I have done this before but I believe only with digital clocks in my dreams, and this was a regular clock) (I expected the clock to change if I looked away and then back again because clocks never keep time in dreams) and that happened. First time I looked I remember noting to myself that it was exactly 6:35. Purposely looked away and then back again and it was some some completely different time. Sometime before the clock situation I inspected my hands quite intently and they started drifting away like sand in the wind and my dream almost collapsed ( I think from my excitement of knowing I was dreaming) and I was able to get the dream/myself under control and remain lucid. But after the incident with the clock I awoke (or lost lucidity, can't remember)... (I've been lucid dreaming a lot more lately thru being more mindful of it during waking hours and also taking advantage of reality checks. I used to lucid dream at least 2-4 times a week while i was reading a book called "lucid dreaming: gateway to the inner self", and I really think that actively reading about the subject helps one to lucid dream more often.
