Drove downtown to go to some school thing. I was late but I drove down myselfX parked beside everyone else and went to grab a bite to eat with Jessica, Samreet and Navjot. We went in and it was a posh looking restaurant, barely anyone there. Nice tablecloths and silverware. We go there and I ask for food - I say I’m vegetarian and don’t eat eggs. Then I explain that Jessica is vegan. The owner comes out and she’s a brown lady. She starts talking about Daal. Then something happens and as we wait they give us ice cream. It’s a drumstick one. I get sent to another table for some reason. I literally am waiting for my order for over 2 hours. I keep asking the owner where my food is, she ignores me. I remember asking for naan and some sabzi. Then, somehow Annie is there and so is Daman and Bali and Heera. I say “fk it, I’m leaving”. I go up to the owner, who’s mother just left the restaurant I think in an ambulance, and I say “listen, I’ve been very patient and understanding but I haven’t eaten anything and have waited over 2 hours for my order which never came. I’m done. I’m leaving” and I leave. I remember I was trying to be very calm the entire time, but my face was feeling weird like I had a grimace on it. Anyway, I get back to the table where daman and bali and Heera are sitting and tell them I’m leaving. I ask Heera if he has his car seat. He says yeah and I walk out of the restaurant. I get to the car and see Karanvir there with some guy who’s drunk. I see Karanvir in the drivers side and I say, “okay, let me drive. Get out” and he says “okay” and I get in and the drunk guy tries to get into the passenger side seat and I just say “what the fuck are you doing? Get the hell out of the car” in a very calm tone. He gets out and everyone else starts piling into the car and other cars: i just remember thinking “I can’t wait to go home and eat” before starting the drive home. Then I woke up.
