Mom and Nicole Make Up

I’m in New York with Alex, Nicole and both of my parents (I’m not sure if they are divorced or not). Nicole has to go home and my mom volunteers to give her a ride. This seems normal at first, but then it hits me that they haven’t talked to each other in years (in real life, they haven’t spoken since my parents’ divorce). I watch as the car drives away and wonder how this interaction will be and whether Nicole has decided to leave her feelings in the past.
