I was in an art school. In class, I was one of the fastest painters, having the most canvases piled in a corner of the classroon for painting, near the door. I had decided to take the night class, so when I arrive there sort of early, it is pretty dark as no lights are on yet. I step into the hallways of the building, the lights all turning on as I walk down the hallway. Waiting for class to begin, I sat in front of the door of my class with my bag and stared at the cieling. Nothing felt real to me. When class began, everybody flooded into the class, With me sitting in the very back corner near my paintings and near the red metal door leading back into the hall. The classroom was white tile for the most oart, lit by a few led lights overhead, changable in color but were a very bright white for now. Outside the window, all that can be seen is pitch black sillhouettes in front of the full moon. When class woukd end, the professor began shutting off the lights and made the room dark when all of a sudden a boy slams into me as I exit the classroom. He starts handing me paintings he created, at least 6 of them, which I proceed to put in my pile. Everybody left, the professor trusting me not to do anything or steal, to close the door after we leave. I continued holding the door open in confusion when I realize it was my ex. I stare at the top painting on the pile he just handed me. An abstract landscape from what I can tell from the light coming from the hallway. I look back at him. "I'm sorry I thought I should just hand you these. I wanted to make up for whatever it is you won't talk to me for." he said. I dig through my bag to reach for a tiny tied plastic bag containing two necklaces. "Cool I was looking for a time to give you these back." I say, handing it to him. I shut the door tight and leave without another word, briskly walking to exit the building into the cold, empty, lonely night.
