Giving Me Chills

There were eight of us. It was a huge cavern stretching hundreds of feet above and across that had an opening to the late evening sky above. Huge boulders and rock columns littered everywhere. The columns were more defined though. Sculpted with giant thorn like protrusions all around. Clearly someone made them but these columns, these boulders, rocks, tunnels, cavern, this place, were all ancient. Nobody had a clue who made them. On top of the biggest boulder in the room, one hundred feet up, were me and two others. We were able to get up there by scaling and traversing the fallen and broken columns and rubble below. At the top opened up to large tunnel that stretched on for a while. Me and the other two looked around for a bit and after not finding much we turned back to get the others. I was first to the edge of the giant boulder. The other five were slowly making there way up to us. There was one girl in the lead however that wasn't taking it very cautiously. She was hopping around in a parkour fashion and laughing like it was a game. She made her last leap, from the column the rest were climbing, to the giant boulder barely making it. Everyone had a great sigh of relief and annoyance. That's when she slipped. Falling backwards she hit the column forcing her face first into the slide of rubble below hitting hard she began to toss down like a rag doll until she slammed into the solid ground at the bottom. We all just looked. We couldn't believe what just happened. We were all frozen in fear. What felt like minutes but was only a few seconds went by I screamed out in an echo "GET HER!". Everyone snapped out of it and as fast as we all could began to descend back to the bottom. I jumped to the column and was using the thorns to make my way down. Just as I started, one of our group members, another girl, got to her. She picked her up and held her in her arms trying to wake the girl. I could hear her calling her name yelling at her for some kind of answer that we all feared we wouldn't get. She opened her eyes and began to say her name. Over and over. The other girl just held her and rocked her calmly telling her yes that's her name. The rest were at the bottom now. One had taken off as fast as he could to get help while the other 2 could only stand there and watch. She started saying her name and "sleepy" over and over. The girl told her to just try and stay with us and not to sleep right now. I made it to bottom and rushed over. We all looked at each other not having any clue what to do. The girl stopped saying her name and looked up. She was staring into the sky. She started saying "experiments" "experiments" "experiments" over and over and got louder and louder "EXPERIMENTS" "EXPERIMENTS" "EXPERIMENTS". It was freaking us all out. It made me think about who built this place and how I didn't think they were from this earth. Something happened to her during her fall. I couldn't figure it out but something definitely wasn't right. She kept yelling it. That's when we heard the faint sound of a strange noise. It sounded like a horn was repeatedly bellowing somewhere far away. I was looking all around for where it was coming from but with the echo it made it impossible to pinpoint it's location. I realized the girl had stopped talking. I turned to look down at her and she was starring straight into my eyes, terrified.
