Dream fragment: My friend posted on Facebook a public thank you to all the friends who she felt helped her physically or emotionally in her recent struggles. I was named among others whom I knew and didn't know. At first I saw her feed on my iPhone, and then I watched it scroll on a large screen, the kind you'd see in a public auditorium, like a hotel conference room. There were bizarre postings in her thank you feed. Some made sense, others did not. The one that stood out as the most peculiar was Gail's reposting of a woman looking for an egg donor. Aside from that being unique in itself, the woman created a website and a Facebook page for herself. (Note: In waking life, I had just reached out to a career counselor, and I believe this woman was along the same lines.) The typeface used was most peculiar. Each letter in this woman's plea for an egg donor was in the shape of an egg, as its own unique font. I read it on my friend's post feed, and then it appeared again, immediately after, as if telling the reader that she was serious and it needed to be seen a second time. “Don't scroll by. Let this register in your head,” it said.
