zombies and my cousin

this one actually happened a few days ago so i dont remember it too well, but i was with a bunch of kids, one of whom was my cousin, and we were trying to escape an impending doom that was akin to a zombie apocalypse. i remembered seeing my parents and the rest of my family die (or get infected) and these kids were all i had left. as we were running i was working on building this litrle contraption that would allow me to fly, kind of like a jetpack with wings. one by one the kids were getting picked off and infected (not dying), and i eventually realized they were sacrificing themselves to give me time to complete my contraption so i could escape and get help to find a cure. eventually it was down to just me and my cousin and i had finished the contraption. i told her to take it but she refused and said i was their only hope now. it was a pretty emotional scene. i started to cry and i hugged her before i took off, and looking back i saw her get infected too. flying ended up being pretty exhilarating, but i had some close calls because it was tough to control. i had to keep landing on rooftops and taking off again, which always brought me super close to danger, but i was able to escape in the end and found a coalition of scientists working on a cure. in the end they were able to cure everyone including my cousin and we had a tearful heartfelt reunion
