Pickleball

I was playing Pickleball and realized I was like on a whole other court from my partner and opponents and couldn’t hear them when I assured what the score was. Later, a great shot came straight at me and I knew I was going to be able to hit it but when the ball got to me, I realized my paddle was tucked behind my ear like a pencil so I just caught the ball with my hands and off course lost the point.
