Weird Vacation

I went with my brother and parents to a place that looked like an old sci-fi book cover (tall buildings and flying passageways). Everything was shiny and copper-ish and even the ocean and sky were orange. We went there on a boat and when we got off the emperor guy told me that I wouldn't be able to leave unless I performed a ritual sacrifice to save the whole world. I said yeah because I wanted to go home. The emperor said if I messed up I might die so he gave me a huge meal before I started the ritual. Then he told me to do it and I had to touch a pole and I didn't die so I did the ritual successfully I guess. Then I went home
