The boil

I was in a waiting area like a hospital I noticed on my right fore arm a boil my wife laced it with a sterile needle heated by a flame from a match. As I sat waiting I noticed wet under my shirt sleeve soo pulled it up to have a look. The boil was back but larger I knew it needed lancing again so called for a nurse who started attending to it. She got a needle and sterilised it and gave it to me. I was surprised and said aren’t you going to do it she said she couldn’t look so I needed to do it as I lanced it I went into it much further than expectd as I didn’t have much control using one hand. The whole thing burst and oozed and collapsed into a wet mess I waited for her to get a dressing but had to ask as she was just standing there.
