bitten by my Fox

I just had a dream where I had two pets, one was my current dog and the other was a fox. In my dream the fox that was my pet, suddenly started biting my hand! And it was biting it hard! I didn't start bleeding but he wouldn't let go and kept trying to attack me. I got scared for my dog and I, so I let him go. Then,right before we were about to leave he shows back up crippled and in a wheelchair. Well I feel bad for him and can't just leave him there, so of course I now have this crippled fox that I'm destined to take care of, and I can no longer climb the mountain that I was wanting to climb.
