Rabid snake

I was at my parent’s house and there were a bunch of animals in there that kept turning rabid. My brother had this light brown snake with dark brown diamonds down it’s back and it kept following me. I was really scared of this snake, but I would still let it come near me and even slither around on me. At one point I was on my bed with my cat that was asleep, and it started trying to wrap itself around her so I woke her up and got her off my bed. In response, the snake shriveled down to a really small size, and I tried to pet it but it didn’t really move. Later on, I was sitting in the hallway with the snake on my lap. He was all wrapped around me when suddenly I say, “it’s rabid!” I threw it off of me, since it was trying to bite me, and ran to my bed. I couldn’t see what was happening but my brother said he beheaded it. Then they said it wasn’t dead, that it was growing two heads.

AI generated interpretation Thank you for sharing your dream with me. The presence of multiple animals turning rabid in your parents' house suggests that you may feel a sense of chaos or instability in your home environment. The snake in your dream is often associated with transformation, healing, and growth, but in this case, it is rabid and therefore signifies that this process may be difficult or uncomfortable for you. The light brown and dark brown diamonds down the snake's back may represent a conflict or duality within yourself, as diamonds are often associated with clarity and strength, but also harshness and pressure. Despite your fear of the snake, you allowed it to be near you and even touch you. This may suggest that there is something in your waking life that you are hesitant to confront or let go of, despite the potential harm it could cause you. The image of the snake shriveling down to a small size and becoming unresponsive when you tried to pet it may symbolize your efforts to diminish or downplay the significance of this issue. When you realize the snake is rabid and it tries to bite you, it represents the potential danger or harm that could come from ignoring or suppressing this issue. Your brother beheading the snake and it growing two heads may suggest that the problem may be more complex or multifaceted than you realize, and that it may require you to face it head-on rather than trying to avoid it. Overall, this dream may be urging you to confront and address a potentially difficult or uncomfortable issue in your waking life, to avoid the potential negative consequences of ignoring it.
