Blue Beetles and Dark Monopoly

The dream was something about some weirdly metallic, reflective bugs. They’re like beetles, but super narrow in shape. I find them in the bathroom. They seem oddly intelligent in how they move and try and avoid me. I keep trying to get a picture of them, but at the same time I’m freaked out, so it’s not going well. There’s also some sort of boardgame that I’m playing in the other room. It’s kind of like monopoly but darker, and every time you go around the board you then start on a wider track than the one before. You still buy property, and have the cards in the center that you pick up when you land on certain spaces. I forgot to pass out cash at the beginning of the game, and don’t realize it until the person I’m playing (I can’t remember who this is, other than that they were female) with lands on a property they want to buy and they have all the money. I make them give it over so that I can pass it out properly. It doesn’t really matter though, because I’m trailing behind in the game and going to lose. I know there’s more to the dream, but I can’t remember. I also can’t remember if the beetles came first, or the boardgame came first.
