I was in a classroom and I was doing volunteer work or something at the place I want to volunteer at. The kids there spoke Spanish as their primary language but they also knew English. I started talking to all of them. "Hola, como estas" I said "estas" uncertainly because I wasn't sure if I said the right conjugation and then I realized that I wanted to address them all so I said "como estais" instead but in my head I saw "esteis." As I was speaking I saw the words. Then I was asking a kid "Donde eres" where are you from and then he answered me in English and I think he said "I'm from Toronto." He was so cute and I think I was relieved that he spoke English because I'm not fluent in Spanish I've only taken a semester and a quarter of Spanish.
