I dreamt that California had a strict blue law that made it illegal to be pregnant and operate any machinery. This did not just apply to trucks and heavy equipment, but branched out to cell phones, microwaves, rollercoasters, even being inside cars. But what was awful about this law was that a pregnant person could not go to the hospital while pregnant or in labor, and if they did could only have a natural birthing space, with no machines to keep them stable. Most women were rejected from jobs like being a barista or a technician because they were high risk employees of becoming pregnant and would not be able to work. I dreamt I was pregnant and in labor, so I asked a shady company to cross the Californian border to another state or Canada, to deliver the birth. I was told to hide in a laundry truck but I was found by Californian Boarder patrol and arrested. I miscarried the baby in jail, and afterwards joined a protest group to change the law. I met with Bernie Sanders, but even after much deliberation in front of the court hall, the bill to over turn the law got denied. Bernie admitted that he agreed with the all white men group dismissing the claims, and I woke up.
