Psycho Roommate at Dorm

I just moved into a dorm room even though I’m halfway through graduate school. Classes didn’t start for a few more days. My roommates included 3 ladies and 2 guys. I was the last to move in so everyone already bonded a bit and I was worried about feeling ostracized. I was alone when all the ladies came back from a walk of some sort. They seemed highly upset. When they came in they told me something happened to one of the girls’ dog. The dog was injured in a really sick way. Two of the girls suspected Luke, one of the guys. They said he had complained about the dog and said she needed to get rid of it. The third girl insisted Luke could not have been involved. This third girl left to go to the bathroom and the other two girls confided in me that they think the third girl may have played a part too because she apparently told them before that she thought Luke was hot. I wasn’t sure what to believe but I wanted to help. The next day I was alone with the second guy, for some reason we were sleeping in the same bed. Then Luke and one of his friends came into the dorm. Suddenly the second guy roommate was nowhere to be found. Luke was angrily confronting me, asking if I believed he injured the dog. He was backing me into a corner. I was insisting no, I had no idea what to believe, because I didn’t know him at all and hadn’t seen any evidence pointing in either direction. He started to choke me. Later I came back to the dorm and walked by Luke and the third girl making out in Luke’s bed. I approached the other two girls and told them I believed both Luke and the third girl were involved now. We came up with a plan. I would pretend that I was running, leaving to drive to the police, but I would come back up and hide. Luke would be lured outside. That was the extent of the plan. When I faked leaving, we put the dog at the top of the stairwell looking down as if looking after me, to help lead Luke to believe I had just ran down there. However when I got back up to the dorm Luke hadn’t cared, he was now chasing and attacking the other girls with a machete.
