Giving Birth

I was being wheeled through the hospital, trying to stay positive although I was terrified. I knew I’d be giving birth. I wasn’t feeling any pain at that moment, though my stomach was larger and I was in a hospital gown. I was wheeled into this room, where the chair was I’d be sitting in, but the room was huge and covered in dark tiles. The room sat on a fish tank that was brightly colored and large, filled with beautiful water. They put me in the chair and I watched the fish. They also put on music, asking what I wanted to hear to distract me during the pain. I tried to laugh off my nervousness. My family came in then and my friend JG, as they got me ready. The doctor, a woman who was kind of tense, asked me if I had my psychology textbook in my bag. I said yes and went to go get it, but she roughly pushed me back in my seat and I started to get dizzy and feel numb. I figured she gave me some kind of drug. My parents started yelling at her, noticing how out of sync I was becoming. I woke up on the first push.
