My native language is Italian. I live in an English-speaking country so I daily speak and dream in English. I've been teaching myself Danish for a little while now and last night I dreamt that I was hanging out with Danish-speaking people and I got what they were talking about, not word for word but more than enough to wake up particularly elated, even though the Danish spoken in the dream was only the sentences of the app I'm studying from.
