Buddhist Lecture

I am in a lecture hall. The door to the street is open and I can see the day is ice and sunny outside. In the dream I have the distinct impression that I came to the lecture alone and I am very proud of this. All the attendees are dressed in blue and grey. I don’t notice my outfit but the colors are muted. The Dalai Lama is lecturing but the lecture is sparsely attended. I am sitting with an attractive, youngish Asian man who translates when I cannot understand the Dalai Lama because he lapses into Tibetan. He also tells me that he does not agree with certain things he is saying. Other people around us join the conversation. I don’t have an opinion... I am still considering my position and it bothers me that they take this for me not understanding what is being argued which is about lucid dreams. At some point there is a break and the young Asian man gets me something to drink to pacify me, as he does not want me to be upset. Everything in this hall is very clean, orderly and new and we are all very polite and well behaved even though we have differences. This was a dream where there was a lot of conversation rather than action. It is difficult to remember. There was something special about the uniforms we were wearing also.
