I am at school, trying to appeal a chemistry grade. I have to explain, in detail, why I missed a dozen lectures. I’m drawing graphs and making notes, but the man in charge is dismissive. I leave. When I come back to pick up my notes, the building is on fire. I’m still go back to the room to pick up my notes, but find that it’s been rejected. I tell everyone the building is on fire and they evacuate. I leave the building but turn another way. It is dark and wet and I can barely see. I move along the roads, blindly. I’m using my hands since my legs don’t work. Eventually I’m found, far from where I intended to be. Now I am in an auditorium or grocery store, part of a magic or hypnosis show. My role is to hold an onion in a string. I make a big deal of it. I put my arm around the man I’m partnered with. We wait for the actual event. The magician goes up the line. When it gets to me, he asks where I think I am. I describe everything I can sense. The pillow below me, cold air, dark walls, etc. he’s frustrated. I’m supposed to say we’re in space, which was his grand finale. He attacks me, taking me apart, and I fight back. We land on earth. I escape somehow. I am an android, not a human, and I’m damaged. A woman is told to turn off her human face, revealing a robot face underneath. We steal a small space ship. Before launching, we pick up a woman with curly red hair and a man with half his face missing and unable to talk, both androids. I put my arm around the damaged man as we blast into space. There is a king anime style intro about how we fight for freedom. There is a statue, crumbling, of the group.
