Saving friend

I had to be at work st 10, but left early to stop and see a friend.when I got there, jer and her boyfriend were fighting.he grabbed a bat and was trying to hit her. She was just trying to get away and leave the place. After a bit she got an idea, she asked me if I would want to get with him, I said, I had a boyfriend, then my friend said, eat about your sister. Then the guy seemed really interested and asked me to ask my sister. I said I would ask my sister if he let her leave with me, he actually agreed. So we left. I had no idea how long we had been there and I didn't have a way to tell the time, so I figured I needed to get to work. I headed to work and asked someone on the sidewalk what time it was, they said almost 10:45. I thought, crap, now I'm late. So I get to work and try to sneak in without being noticed, but the boss notices me right away. I tried to explain why I was late, but she didn't want to hear it and told me I couldn't be late anymore and to start coming 2 hours earlier, so that I would never be late. I know there was much more to the dream, but that's about all I remember.
