This dream literally sucked to have it was horrible I was crying the entire time. So we open and I am in my house but everything looks all white and sterile. I look over and my dad is there, breathing so heavily that his shoulders are shaking. I realize that he has just murdered my mom and my little brother (nothing about my little sister though) and now he is coming for me. He stalks over to me and grabs my arm and suddenly he’s pulling me through this modern, busy shopping center. People are looking at us weird but aren’t stopping us. I say something like “You’re a monster! How could you kill them!?” and then I hear a “Cut!” like a director would say. Suddenly I notice that there is a professional filming crew all around the shopping center, and I remember that this part (and only this part, he did actually kill my family) is staged. Suddenly, something that looks like a noose appears in front of us and my dad is like “You’re putting this on.” And I’m like… this is not in the script. Then the TV crew all look super uncomfortable, so I like wriggled out of his grip and ran over to them. They’re like “hey, you don’t actually need to do this, you know that right? This isn’t real.” And I’m like “Yeah, I know.” And I go back to him and let him put the leash on me, which is weird. He picks it up and holds it so it’s just too high up for my to stand on my tippy-toes, and then drops it so I fall on my knees. The TV crew all gasps, because that isn’t supposed to happen. Then he pulls me out of the shopping center and suddenly we’re on a dark and stormy dock. A bunch of fisherman or something are there, but so is my Aunt Dee. I look over to my Dad and he’s been replaced by my little sister. A police officer shows up at the end of the dock, and he’s like “I regret to inform you too, but your mother and your brother have been murdered.” And Mackenzie is like “Oh no that’s horrible” but she’s obviously faking. I scream “It was her!!! Mackenzie killed them, it was her!!!” And the cop arrests her, which makes her Azula breakdown level mad. She pulls out this pepper-spray type device, and sprays me in the face with it. I collapse onto my Aunt Dee’s side and my vision goes black. When I wake up, I’m in my house. The layout appears to be the same, so I open my bedroom door and go into my sisters. I’m pretty sure that my dad wasn’t supposed to be switched out as the bad guy, because I am excited to see her and don’t view her as the murderer. She’s like “Oh my god, you’re awake!” And I’m like “What?” And she’s like “You’ve been in a coma for 8 years!!” And I check my phone and she’s right, it’s 2029. A billion thoughts go through my head, but I decide to ask: “So you’re in college?” And she says yes, even though she doesn’t look older. I am incredibly upset about missing when I was supposed to go to college. I am also distinctly upset that I missed the theatrical release of Into the Spider-Verse 2. I am crying because I’ve missed out on so much, and I go to text my best friends and see that in our group chat they’ve replaced me with my cousin and don’t seem to care that I’ve been gone. I wake up crying.
