The Grammar speech night was held in the St Finn Barrs church and the event was lead by a priest. Weirdly, the priest was Mark Cox. All the prayers, etc that were said were Catholic, but the students and Grammar staff/families in the congregation said Anglican responses, but then there were also Catholic parishioners in the congregation (who would usually go to SFB so they went to this service anyway) who said the Catholic responses, so whenever the congregation would respond to anything, it would sound like jargon. After the service was finished, I went behind the altar into a kitchen to find some ladies from church preparing some morning tea for everyone before walking past them into the sacristy to do my first reconciliation and the priest (again, Mark Cox) was asleep in a lounge room type room which was meant to be a confessional. He woke up and apologised for being asleep and then I woke up.
